As a Guild practitioner I respect and comply with the Veterinary Act 1966 and the Veterinary Surgeons (Exemptions Order) 2015 by never working on an animal without gaining prior veterinary consent. This is a legal requirement and cannot be overlooked.

This also helps to ensure that there is communication between the group of professionals treating your dog so that continuity of care is maintained.
